A Day in the Page is designed to take a journey with you, the reader, into the intricacies of the story. Whether it's oral storytelling or a written novel or even a visual art medium, humans have been telling stories for as long as we've been able to think. Our goal is to take that history and translate it to the modern day, discovering the precise elements to a perfect story.

I'm Colin Lyon. I started this blog in September of 2017 because I wanted to see someone make good use of my passion: the story. Stories come in so many forms it's impossible to count them all, but we're going to try, and we're going to figure out what makes the perfect story for everyone. We might get academic at times, but that's just part of the fun! Stay a while, and help us learn what it means to tell a good story.
